Free Writer’s Weekend at the Library
Two weeks from today, on February 4, 2012, the Calgary Public Library is once again offering their Writer’s Weekend at the downtown library. This event is free to anyone who holds a library card, and is not just for writers who are just getting started, but also for experienced writers. I have registered for 3 of the talks and as of now there are still spaces available for all of the presentations.
I am a huge fan of libraries in general, and consider the Fish Creek branch my second home. While I was browsing the excellent CPL website, I ran across this opportunity to attend presentations from professional authors, poets, publishers, and librarians. This will surely provide guidance, ideas and inspiration, no matter what your writing focus is.
You can find even more information on the Calgary Public Library’s “Writer’s Nook” blog.
